Having Surgery can be daunting, nervous and stressful experience. We can be by your side to help you prepare.

Some of what I do include:

• Preop Readiness: Get help preparing for your surgery as we assess for your goals and needs, provide preop education and also conduct an in home assessment to identify needs and ensure safety. 2hrs $250

• Preop Readiness plus Visit: You get the above along with accompanying you for a doctor's visit preop and advocating for your needs. 3hrs $350.

• Basic in-home assessment preop to assess needs and provide written recommendations for DME and Home Modifications. Can also coordinate to get DME delivered. $250

• Many more depending on the type of procedure. Care is tailored based on Procedure

• Monitor Vital Signs, dressings and check for complications

• Meeting you after the procedure and assisting with Discharge

• Transportation from hospital or surgicenter

• Picking up prescriptions and supplies

• Tucking you in and ensuring you are cozy

• Administer medications on schedule including injections 

• Administer ordered in-home IV medications and tube feedings 

•  Wound care and Surgical drain management

• Assist with correct positioning and ambulation

• Assist with toileting, dressing and other activities

• Assist with feeding and meals

• Make independent decisions when necessary

• Contact your provider with questions or notify them about issues as necessary

• Advocating for you in every way we can or should. 

• Letting the dog out or feeding your pets so you don't worry about them.

• **There are variations with Dental recovery which is tailored to the procedure

Care Management experience started in 2006 at the Fountains at Logan Square & Working for Humana At Home as a Care Manager starting in 2017.

 Help Navigating Long term care Insurance: Includes in home assessment and being present for assessment.  Also offer plans to help navigating the entire claim process.

Comprehensive Care Management: This includes weekly or biweekly visits depending on the plan chosen with nursing services such as pillboxes, Monitoring Vital signs, home wellness and safety checks with assessments, ensuring appointments are attended, necessary tests such as colonoscopies scheduled and many more. Case Management and care coordination including referrals, appointment setting, updating family and more.  | $1000 with weekly visits &care  | $600 for biweekly visits & 2 calls  

Transitions Care Management: This is perfect for the person coming out of a hospital discharge. Weekly visits that include services such as reviewing DC instructions, coordinating care, tests and referrals and other necessities.   | $1200 for the first month. (Most people only need the one month.)

Light Care Management: Perfect for Periodic Checks on Family in Facilities, hospitals or those at home needing periodic checks and reporting to family away.   | $400 1 monthly visit with 3 check in calls

One Time Care:  Most of these falls under the A la Cart services such as accompanying to ER, Sick day care, etc. However, if you are a client who pays the minimal retainer, you get a significant discount.

Pediatric care falls under our Care management services.

Law Offices and Other Firms: Care Management services to Clients. Accompanying to Appointments and giving reports right away, coordinating care and referrals. I also offer Expert Consultation with my extensive Experience in various nursing specialties and different recovery rooms.

Emergency Care: This  works if you are away and find out your loved one is going to the ER, hospital or other facility and need Expert eyes and ears on the ground to monitor, assist and report to you. Accompanying to ER $400 for first 3 hours. $100 for additional hours deducted from retainer. $110 if added on. RN will meet patient at the hospital, ER or Urgent Care Facility. 

Expert Consultation: Doing LTC assessments has allowed me to know different facilities around Maryland. Whether looking for recommendations for a memory care facility, Assisted living, in Home care for family, I am available to give recommendations. And no, I do not contract with facilities to recommend them. If I send someone to a bad place, it is my name on the line. I have a conscience.

Sick Day Care: Are you sick at home and need someone to care for you? Perhaps you are single or family is away. We come in and care for you like family, even better. We assist with bathing and grooming, picking up prescriptions and giving them, meals and feeding, tucking you in, monitoring your temperature and other vital signs, seeking expert care if you need a higher level of care. | $400 for the first 2hrs, $125 for additional hours

One time Care: Did you throw up from drinking too much? Are you feeling sick after getting home and need someone present to help? Are you feeling weak and need someone to come in and help. We can be there to assist you and care for you. (Subject to availability). | $400 for the first 2 hours, $150 for additional hours. 2 hour minimum.

Therapeutic bath: We stop by to help you take a shower and assist with grooming. That can be hard after surgery or with limitations. For patients we know, $200 for the first hour, $300 for 2 hours which include performing other duties while there. Drain and/or Wound care: $200 an hour. For patients we've seen prior, $160 an hour.

IN-home Assessment for elderly with written recommendations and plan of care: 2hrs | $400 

 Help with Navigating Long term care Insurance assessment: $400. Includes in home assessement and being present for assessment.  

Accompanying to ER $400 for first 3 hours. $100 for additional hours deducted from retainer. $110 if added on.
